Commercial Leak Detection

Leak detection is one of the most complicated plumbing services since accurately finding out-of-sight leaks is difficult. This is true for both water and gas leaks. A plumbing leak is costly and messy while a gas leak is a more hazardous presence in your business establishment.

When you suspect a water or gas leak in your place of business call Rooter-Man. We are the plumbing and gas leak detection experts. Our well-trained and courteous plumbing and gas leak detection experts will come to your property and assess the situation. They bring the most modern and up-to-date tools and devices for plumbing and gas leak detection to every assignment they go to. If there is a leak they will find it, however subtle the gas leak is or buried a plumbing leak is.

Rooter-Man’s leak detection methods

We at Rooter-Man use the appropriate tools and devices to locate any plumbing or gas leak. Every tool in our arsenal has an explicit purpose for which it used. Our well-trained and select plumbing and gas leak detection experts have years of experience behind them in locating leaks.

The Rooter-Man’s leak detection methods and leak detection tools include:

  • Visual assessment – With years of training and experience in leak detection, Rooter-Man’s leak experts can easily identify most or all leaks by simply doing a walk through inspection of your establishment. A visual assessment usually gives them an idea on how best to proceed.
  • Pressure check – For plumbing leaks, a check of the water pressure will indicate if there is a leak in the system and if it is in the cold or hot aspect of the system
  • Moisture sensor and surveillance – This process is helpful in determining the source of the leak. It provides information on the presence of moisture where it shouldn’t be and also the level of moisture.
  • Fiber optic bore scope – This device allows inspection of pipes between the floors and within wall without the necessity of drilling or cutting holes.
  • Thermal laser – This tool gauges heat through surfaces such as a concrete slab
  • Thermal camera – This is a tool that helps detect leaks through visual inspection without necessarily opening walls
  • Pinpoint audio location – This is also called sound localization. Pinpointing where the sound is coming from helps in identifying where the leak is located.
  • Electronic pipe location – A method of detecting leaks using electronic equipments or devices.

When you imagine or think that there’s a leak somewhere in your property, call Rooter-Man anytime of the day or night. We will accurately locate any plumbing or gas leaks in no time at all without tearing your floors or cutting holes in your walls and give you back your peace of mind.
